Not much rain falls here at Little Monitor Reservoir; October is the wettest month with most rain; June meanwhile is the driest month. Little Monitor Reservoir truly is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. Why not camp at Antone Spring Campground while you're here at Little Monitor Reservoir; get yourself into a kayak and hit San Miguel River. This place, the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, has so much       outdoors amusing stuff. Everybody loves Cottonwood Basin, of course you could also take a look at Beaver Reservoir since you're here; it's not far at all. You'll meet a lot of folks from Montrose here, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Monitor Mesa Trail. This lake is so wonderful. So much cool stuff to do in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, not sufficient time. Hiking along the Moore Mesa Trail is brilliant fun, and an interesting thing to explore                  close to Little Monitor Reservoir is Middle Monitor Dam. This lake is located in the wonderful Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Soar down the rapids of Escalante Creek in a kayak; Little Monitor Reservoir is right by the Cottonwood Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant place to camp here at Little Monitor Reservoir is Smokehouse Campground; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sundance. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Little Monitor Reservoir, and the nighttime is a little colder of course, commonly in the 50's.
