Any time is a pleasant time at Little Monitor Reservoir if you go for the outdoors. Middle Monitor Dam is worth checking out while you're here, and a delightful location to camp here at Little Monitor Reservoir is Antone Spring Campground.       Around Little Monitor Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rain; October is the month that gets the most rain, and June is the month with the least moisture. This location, the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, has so much outdoors fun things. Whitewater paddling is splendid on San Miguel River; if you're visiting from Montrose, you won't be the only one. The warmest time of the year at Little Monitor Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 90's; through summer                  nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and overnight lows at Little Monitor Reservoir through the wintertime ordinarily drop into the 10's.
