Little Molas Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. Lime Creek has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by, and a good nearby hotel is Purgatory Village Condominium Hotel. High temperatures at Little Molas Lake during the summer months are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Little Molas Lake temperatures plunge

| | to the 0's. Not much precipitation falls here at Little Molas Lake; the month with most of the rain is August while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Molas Lake Park is a brilliant spot to do that, and paddling on Mineral Creek - South is so much fun. And that's not all the things you can do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Purgatory Lodge by Durango Mountain Resorts is a tremendous | |

site to get some rest; Silverton is a very popular ski area close by. Molas Pass is right next door to Little Molas Lake and is a good location; the scenery at Duck Slough Dam is pretty.
Any time is a great time at Little Molas
Lake if you go for the outdoors. The Brooklyn Trail is a fine hiking trail in close proximity to Little Molas Lake, and lakes are such serene places, why not take a look at Andrews Lake. Going for a hike along the Deer Park Trail
will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Kendall Mountain. You'll hit upon a gorgeous lake called Molas Lake near Little Molas Lake.
So many
amusing things in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, just astonishing. Little Molas Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Red Mountain Motel and RV Park is a nice local campground, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Whitehead Trail. The San Juan and Jemez Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
