Go to Little Molas Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Whitehead Trail; if you desire a little side trip, try Molas Pass. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Little Molas Lake without first going for a hike along the Deer Park Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Mineral Creek - South offers some good whitewater. Now, you may imagine that's loads but there's even more enjoyable things

time here at Little Molas Lake. Camping is available at Molas Lake Park, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Little Molas Lake; Brooklyn Trail is a good local trail. Little Molas Lake is located in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
Summertime highs at Little Molas Lake usually tend to be in the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's while Little Molas Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout
the wintertime are in the 0's. Duck Slough Dam has nice water scenery and it's near Little Molas Lake, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Silverton is reasonably near. Around Little Molas Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation;
the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
