This lake is so wonderful. The Penrose Trail is a great hiking trail next to Little Johnson Reservoir, and not far from Little Johnson Reservoir you'll find A McCray Reservoir which is a pretty lake. Through the summer months at Little Johnson Reservoir temperatures are frequently in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are       in the 30's while Little Johnson Reservoir nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. There is a fine hiking trail in the neighborhood of Little Johnson Reservoir called the Palmer Trail; Little Johnson Reservoir is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Wrangler RV Ranch and Motel is a glorious local campground. Holiday Inn Express Colorado Springs, Co is a delightful location to get some rest, and if you came to camp Colorado Springs                  South is a brilliant place to do that. Little Johnson Reservoir gets very little rainfall; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; January meanwhile is the driest month. A tremendous nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Colorado Springs (Airport/Aero, and close by you find the Indian Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. This place, Little Johnson Reservoir, it clearly has so much outdoors cool stuff. East Fork Sand Creek is a tremendous place to stop by, and Little Johnson Reservoir is a place with many visitors from Colorado Springs. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course next to Little Johnson Reservoir is Vineyard Golf Club.
