Little Johnny Reservoir is a nice lake to visit. Just can't get enough of the Front Range. A trip to Shaws Park rejuvenates the soul; Arkansas River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by. Some of the water nearby flows, like Milsap Creek. Summertime highs at Little Johnny Reservoir typically tend to be in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Little

This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Seep Springs Draw is near Little Johnny Reservoir and is a great place; close by you find the Tanner Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Stultz Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and Little Johnny Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Fort Gorge RV Park | |

This lake is so wonderful. Little Johnny Reservoir is not far at all from Canon City, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Grape Creek. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel -
Canon City is a great choice, and you can go for a hike on the Highline Trail. At Little Johnny Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; July is the wettest month with most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture.
Not far from Little Johnny Reservoir you get some pleasant water scenery at Little Johnny Dam, and a perfect place to camp here at Little Johnny Reservoir is Royal View Campground. And if that's not enough there's plenty more entertaining
things to do in the Front Range. A fine nearby hotel is Best Western Royal Gorge Motel, and a trip to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is worthwhile.
