Little Hohnholz Lake is a location that is rather dehydrated ordinarily; throughout the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. So many exciting things to do here in the Medicine Bow Mountains, too perfect to be true. Little Hohnholz Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Hooligan Roost       Campground is a tremendous local campground, and unsurprisingly Forrester Creek flows through this area. Man, is there plenty of enjoyable things to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains. If you get bored of Little Hohnholz Lake, you could also pop by close by East Lake, and nearby you stumble on Pfister Draw which is a tremendous site to have a look at. Johnson Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could visit; brilliant skiing awaits you at Snowy Range. There                  is a great hiking trail right next door to Little Hohnholz Lake called the Pache Trail, and you can run the rapids of Laramie River. This lake is so wonderful. Near Little Hohnholz Lake you find the Medicine Bow Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and if you came to camp Hohnholz Lakes Campground is a tremendous location to do that. For the period of the warm days of summer highs here at Little Hohnholz Lake get into the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Little Hohnholz Lake are in the 10's. Little Hohnholz Lake is one of the lakes here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Just can't get enough of Little Hohnholz Lake.
