This lake is one of the great places here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. For the period of the warm days of summer here at Little Hohnholz Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Little Hohnholz Lake descend into the 10's. If you want a       wonderful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Medicine Bow Mountains. Stay the night at Hooligan Roost Campground; the Medicine Bow Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Forrester Creek from Little Hohnholz Lake is uncomplicated, and Little Hohnholz Lake is right by the McIntyre Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Laramie River, and there's fine hiking along the Pache Trail. Not much precipitation                  falls here at Little Hohnholz Lake; the wettest month of the year is commonly July, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll fancy Little Hohnholz Lake. Very charming scenery and great skiing is what you get at Snowy Range, and you can take a little trip to Little Hohnholtz Dam if you're here at Little Hohnholz Lake.
