And if that's not sufficient, there's loads more to do in the neighborhood of Little Gem Lake. A good place to camp here at Little Gem Lake is Meri-daes RV Park and General Store, and if you need a place to stay Wildwood Lodge is a good choice. Little Gem Lake gets very little precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.       Camping is available at Avery Peak Campground; Crystal River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Little Gem Lake, you could also explore stunning Geneva Lake; hiking is a popular thing to do around Little Gem Lake; Blue Creek Trail is a pleasant local trail. Good hiking is available along the Trail Riders Trail; after a long day outdoors Laurelwood Condominiums is a great location to spend a night                  or two. Do set aside some time for Lead King Basin while you're here at Little Gem Lake, and you simply have to stop by Devils Rockpile while you're here at Little Gem Lake. The warmest time of the year at Little Gem Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are frequently in the 30's; night lows in the-10's for Little Gem Lake. Aspen Highlands has perfect slopes and a friendly staff. There's fine hiking along the Munsey Ruby Stock Driveway; on a lovely day you obtain a good vista of Capitol Peak from Little Gem Lake.
