This lake is so wonderful. All through the summer months at Little Eggleston Reservoir highs are frequently in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Little Eggleston Reservoir. Little Eggleston Reservoir is       pretty dry mostly; the month with most of the rain is October, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Stay the night at Eggleston Lake Campground, and going for a hike on the High Foot Trail is always a great adventure. After a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a great site to spend a night or two, and you can go for a hike on the Crag Crest Trail. Powderhorn is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood, and the vista of Horse Mountain                  is scenic. So many fun things in the vicinity of Little Eggleston Reservoir, completely phenomenal. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Delta is a great choice; fine hiking is available along the Lily Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
