The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Little Echo Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A great place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Little Echo Lake is Clear Creek - West Fork, and Little Echo Lake is a pleasant location to visit       for more than one day, Midland Campground is a pleasant location to camp nearby. Rogers Pass is a pleasant place to explore next to Little Echo Lake. Lakes? Sure, James Peak Lake is nearby. This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. This lake is so wonderful. The South Boulder Creek Trail is a splendid hiking trail near Little Echo Lake, and Mountain Meadow Camp Grounds is a tremendous campground nearby. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater                  of Boulder Creek; there is a splendid hiking trail close by called the Guinn Mountain Ski Trail. On a delightful day at Little Echo Lake you can take a hike along the James Peak Lake Trail; there are other sites here than Little Echo Lake, for example Steuart Lake. Having a great time at Little Echo Lake is easy. So many enjoyable things in the Front Range, just fantastic. At Little Echo Lake you can distinguish Haystack Mountain, and delightful skiing awaits you at Winter Park. All the outdoors amusing stuff right next door to Little Echo Lake will keep you coming back again and again. Berthoud Pass has splendid slopes and a friendly staff; if you need a site to stay The Peck House is a splendid choice. It is very dry here at Little Echo Lake mostly; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Front Range.
