Don't leave Little Bear Lake without first going for a hike along the Huerfano Trail; if you need a place to stay Days Inn Alamosa is a fine choice. Around Little Bear Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Just can't get enough of Little Bear Lake. Don't miss out on a tour to Great Sand Dunes National Monument while you're here       at Little Bear Lake, and do have a look at Blue Lakes, it's a pretty lake. Little Bear Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. A pleasant trip to Blanca Basin is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon; Little Bear Lake is a good location to visit for more than one day, Blanca RV Park is a good location to camp nearby.
