There are good places to look at along the Ute Trail, and you can stay the night at Great Sand Dunes Oasis. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. Going for a hike on the Huerfano Trail is always a splendid adventure, and stopping by Great Sand Dunes National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. While you're here at Little Bear       Lake, you could also take a look at scenic Blue Lakes, and everybody loves Blanca Basin. The warmest time of the year at Little Bear Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are commonly in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Little Bear Lake. Yeah, come up here to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains for a wonderful time.
