Lost Man Campground is a perfect campground nearby, and after a long day outdoors The Alpenblick By Aspen Lodging Company is a nice spot to spend a night or two. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Sawatch Range has to offer. Looking for something in close proximity to Linkins Lake? Lost Man Lake is in the vicinity; you can go for a hike on the Chapman Trail. Having a glorious time in the Sawatch Range is painless.       Stay the night at Portal Campground, and dry warm beds await you at VillaHotel Bears Creek. That right there is a lot already, but it keeps on going; Linkins Lake has it all. Roaring Fork is a magnificent whitewater spot close to Linkins Lake, and a glorious site to check out is Wet Gulch. Linkins Lake gets very little precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August while February is commonly the driest month. Geissler Mountain can be seen                  from Linkins Lake, and there's some flowing water close by, Independence Creek is a stream you can stop at while you're here. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawatch Range. And that's not all you can do here at Linkins Lake. Going for a hike on the Sawyer Lake Trail is always a great adventure, of course you could also visit Independence Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Aspen Highlands has good slopes and a friendly staff, and you can run the rapids of Lake Creek. All through the days of summer here at Linkins Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's, and the night is a little cooler of course, usually in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Linkins Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
