There's so much to do here at Lily Pond Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Skyline Campground is a brilliant location for that; a perfect nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn Bighorn Lodge. Brinker Creek is a scenic stream that is worth checking out; on a lovely day you get a great panorama of Middle Mountain from Lily Pond Lake. At Lily Pond Lake during the summer months highs are in the 70's while overnight lows       are regularly in the 30's. Highs all through the winter are frequently in the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Lily Pond Lake descend into the 0's. Lily Pond Lake is a location that is quite dried out mostly; during the month of May you get the most rain around here; January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Joe Wright Creek for all you adrenaline junkies, and hiking along the Lower                  Nunn Creek Trail is pleasant fun. So much amusing stuff in the Medicine Bow Mountains, just inspiring.
