There's so much to do here at Lily Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Himes Peak Campground is a good spot for that. During the long summer days at Lily Pond highs are regularly in the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lily Pond. Lily Pond is frequently       a reasonably dehydrated place; October is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful. A charming lake like Anderson Reservoir in close proximity to Lily Pond is a splendid place to take a look at, and going for a hike on the Ute Trail is always a great adventure.
