This lake is so wonderful. Cross Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot near Lily Lake; hiking along the Highline Trail is splendid fun. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is bountiful here in the Sawatch Range. You'll find a pretty lake called Morton Lake near Lily Lake; skiing at Vail is one of those things you just ought to do. This lake is so wonderful. Dry       warm beds await you at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch, and Gold Park Campground is a nice campground nearby. Lily Lake is mostly a quite waterless site; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
