If you are in Conejos county it's always a good idea to stop by Lily Lake. Be careful coming to the San Juan Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. If the weather is good here at Lily Lake, you can go for a hike along the Ruybalid Trail. There's so much to do here at Lily Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Conejos Campground is a good place for that. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Lily Lake. Rio de los Pinos is a glorious whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Lily Lake, and hiking along the Conejos Stock Driveway is great fun. Lily Lake is a beautiful lake in the San Juan Mountains. A large amount of rain falls at Lily Lake; during March this area sees the most snow; June is when it's the driest. Yeah,
come up here to the San Juan Mountains for a nice time. Los Flores Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out, and you can run the rapids of Conejos River. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Notch Trail will
let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and Lily Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Spectacle Lake Campground is a good local campground.
