Get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of Animas River,                  and Vallecito Campground is a good local campground. But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Columbine Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Purgatory Lodge by Durango Mountain Resorts is a splendid choice. The Deer Park Trail is a tremendous hiking trail in the neighborhood of Lillie Lake, and Blue Spruce Trailer Park is a splendid campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Kendall Mountain is a glorious local ski area. Lakes are brilliant; Castilleja Lake is a lake that's close to Lillie Lake. And that's not all you can do here at Lillie Lake. You might want to pay a visit to Columbine Pass since you're here at Lillie Lake. Lillie Lake gets very little precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area in the vicinity of Lillie Lake has to offer.
