Spring Campground is a nice campground here, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Paradox Road. This lake is located in the wonderful Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. Whohoo, so many
cool things in one place! The Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains is peerless! Camping at Lewis Reservoir is great fun, Iron Spring Campground is a great local campground, and Lewis Reservoir is right by the Horsefly Trail. Lewis Reservoir
is mostly a rather dried up site; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February.
