Lewis Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on San Miguel River       is so much fun, and there are delightful locations to discover along the Dry Creek Trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains has to offer. Whitewater paddling is delightful on San Miguel River; dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites. Having a good time in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains is easy. Put some time aside to spend at Turkey Plot Spring if you're here at Lewis Reservoir; going for                  a hike on the Horsefly Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Go for a hike on the Paradox Road; Iron Spring Campground is a perfect campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Antone Spring Campground. All through the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 80's at Lewis Reservoir, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows at Lewis Reservoir through the wintertime commonly drop into the 0's.
