Lewis Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Throughout the summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Lewis Lake. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Lewis Lake dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. | | locations like Ophir Pass; you can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Telluride. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Bridal Veil Basin revives the spirit; the peak of La Junta Peak can be seen from Lewis Lake. Lewis Lake is a location that is rather dry frequently; during July this area sees the most rain, and June on the other hand is the driest. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lewis Lake has to offer, you can camp at Molas Lake | |

Park, and Camels Garden is a splendid place to get some rest. Looking for something right next door to Lewis Lake? Blue Lake is around here; close to Lewis Lake you stumble on a golf course called Telluride Ski & Golf Club. Paddling
on Mineral Creek - South is so much fun, and fine skiing awaits you at Silverton. The Deep Creek Trail is a fine hiking trail in close proximity to Lewis Lake, and Lewis Lake is a nice location to camp, South Mineral Campground is
a nice location. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff close to Lewis Lake. If the weather is good here at Lewis Lake, you can go for a hike along the Greyhound Pack Trail. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up.
Soar down the rapids of Lime Creek in a kayak; at Bridal Veil Dam near Lewis Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see.
