If you are traveling by, why not stop by Lewis Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lewis Lake with overnight lows in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Lewis Lake sink into the 0's. Camping is available at Brb Crystal River Resort, and do take a look at Thomas Dam while you're here. It's a great idea to go to Potato Bill Creek, it's in close proximity to Lewis Lake;

to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a perfect choice; the skiing at Sunlight Mountain is perfect. At Lewis Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly October, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February.
