After a long day outdoors Fawn Valley Inn is a splendid place to spend a night or two; you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Swamp Creek Cutoff Trail. So much fun stuff in the Medicine Bow Mountains, just remarkable. While you're here at Letitia Lake you can take a hike along the Killpecker Trail, and drift down the rapids of Cache La Poudre River in a kayak. Letitia Lake is pretty dried out ordinarily; the wettest month of       the year is ordinarily July, that's the one that rains the most, and January is the month with the least moisture. Man, is there lots of fun things to do near Letitia Lake. A good spot to camp here at Letitia Lake is Creedmore Lakes Campground, and right next door to Letitia Lake you locate a golf course called Fox Acres Country Club. Through the long summer days here at Letitia Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures                  are in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Letitia Lake are in the 0's. And that's not all you can do here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. You'll come across a beautiful lake called Dowdy Lake near Letitia Lake; hey, Columbine Creek is a wonderful local stream. This lake is located in the wonderful Medicine Bow Mountains. Columbine Canyon is next to Letitia Lake and is unquestionably a great location to have a look at; Deer Lake Dam is not far at all from Letitia Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Letitia Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Dowdy Lake - Arapaho National Forest is a perfect local campground, and going for a hike along the North Lone Pine Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
