If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Leo Lake. Sapphire Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. There's so much to do here at Leo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Springdale Campground is a perfect spot for that. All year is a brilliant time in the Front Range if you go for the outdoors. If you need a place to stay The Cliff House Hotel at Pikes Peak is a       splendid choice, and going for a hike along the Balanced Rock Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Summertime highs at Leo Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's; night lows all through the winter for Leo Lake tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby Ensign Gulch is a perfect spot to go                  if you're at Leo Lake, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Stanley Canyon Trail. If you came to camp Promontory Campground is a perfect location to do that, and a golf course nearby is Shining Mountain Golf Club. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Front Range. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Schubarth Trail, and if you get bored of Leo Lake you could also stop by nearby Grace Lake. Around Leo Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Leo Lake you get some wonderful water scenery at Aspen Lake Dam, and if time allows, Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a national park worth taking a look at.
