Leggett and Hillcrest Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Front Range. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Front Range. Don't leave Leggett and Hillcrest Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Mesa Trail, and a round of golf at nearby Flatirons Golf Course is a glorious way to kill some time. That right there is lots of enjoyable stuff already       but it goes on, the Front Range has it all. The Green Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best, and Boulder Twin Lakes Inn is a pleasant site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There's brilliant hiking along the Saddle Rock Trail; you get a tremendous panorama of Hoover Hill from here. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than Leggett and Hillcrest Reservoir, for example Leggett Reservoir, and there's always Leggett and Hillcrest                  Dam to stop by close to Leggett and Hillcrest Reservoir. B and B Mobile and RV Park is a splendid local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Homewood Suites Boulder. Here at Leggett and Hillcrest Reservoir you'll most likely meet some folks from Boulder, and why not camp at Longmont Koa Kampground since you're here at Leggett and Hillcrest Reservoir. Leggett and Hillcrest Reservoir gets very little rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while January is mostly the driest month. The panoramas at Rocky Mountain National Park will blow your mind; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Fourmile Canyon Creek. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Boulder Creek - South. Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Leggett and Hillcrest Reservoir. If you come at the right time of year, Boulder Creek offers some nice whitewater; lakes are such serene spots, why not take a look at Saint Joe Reservoir. High temperatures at Leggett and Hillcrest Reservoir through the summertime months are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's.
