Lee Reservoirs is a beautiful lake in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. If you like the outdoors, you'll love Lee Reservoirs. If the weather is brilliant here at Lee Reservoirs, you can go for a hike along the Monitor Mesa Trail; Middle Monitor Dam is a delightful       location, positively worth stopping at. Around Lee Reservoirs you don’t get a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year October is the one with the most rain, and June is the month with the least moisture. And that's not everything you can do here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Antone Spring Campground is a great place to camp, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Sundance is a great choice. This lake is so                  wonderful. Not far from Lee Reservoirs, you'll locate Big Monitor Reservoir Number 1 which is a beautiful lake, and the Cottonwood Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close by. San Miguel River is a great whitewater spot near Lee Reservoirs, and camping is available at Smokehouse Campground. Just can't get enough of the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. There is a great hiking trail near Lee Reservoirs called the Moore Mesa Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Middle Monitor Reservoir. High temperatures at Lee Reservoirs during the warmest time of the year are in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's.
