Many people like to go to Law Ponds. And if that's not enough there's a lot more entertaining stuff to do in the Sawatch Range. Super 8 Motel - Leadville is a splendid place to get some rest, and get your pulse rate up on the pleasant whitewater of Arkansas River. That right there is a load already, but it goes on; Law Ponds has it all. Law Ponds is regularly a rather dried up location; during the month of August you get the most rain around here while February

| | is commonly the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Lake Creek in close proximity to Law Ponds; Vail is a splendid local ski area. Near Law Ponds you hit upon the Mount Massive Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and the skiing at Ski Cooper is good. Not far from Law Ponds, you'll come across Evergreen Lakes which is a gorgeous lake; Soda Springs is a nice local attraction.

you may feel that's heaps but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Sawatch Range. Camping at Law Ponds is pleasant fun, Sugar Loafin' RV/campground is a pleasant local campground; if you crave a little side trip, try
Bartlett Gulch. After a long day outdoors Delaware Hotel is a nice place to spend a night or two; going for a hike on the Main Range Trail is always a good adventure.
And that's not all you can do here at Law Ponds. There are
great locations to explore along the Highline Trail, and swing by North Willow Creek it's a nice site to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Sugar Loafin while you're here at Law Ponds, and a round of golf at nearby
MT Massive Golf Course is a perfect way to kill some time. Throughout the warm months at Law Ponds temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Law Ponds.
