A visit to Law Ponds is always a good idea. Lakes are pleasant; Turquoise Lake is a lake that's next to Law Ponds, and paddling on Arkansas River is so much fun. High temperatures at Law Ponds all through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's, and the overnight is rather cooler of course, ordinarily in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Law Ponds. The Main Range Trail offers hiking

| | at its best, and nearby Bartlett Gulch is a glorious place to go.
Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Sawatch Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Highline Trail, and Vail is a very popular ski area close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. MT Massive Golf Course is a glorious golf course close by, and Ski Cooper has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff. thing to do around Law Ponds; Mount Massive Trail is a nice local trail; camping at Colorado Outward Bound is always a nice experience.
Law Ponds is one of the lakes here in the Sawatch Range. Law Ponds is typically a relatively
waterless place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Put some time aside to spend at Soda Springs if you're here at Law Ponds, and
float down the rapids of Lake Creek in a kayak.
What a spot this is for outdoors people. A glorious place to camp here at Law Ponds is Sugar Loafin' RV/campground. Not far from Law Ponds, you'll locate Crystal Lakes which is a
pretty lake, and Super 8 Motel - Leadville is a pleasant location to get some rest. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in close proximity to Law Ponds. Looking for some flowing water? Try North Willow Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Delaware Hotel.
