The Park Range scenery is always beautiful. A lake close by is Slater Creek Lake. Larson Reservoir gets very little rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little tour to Pat Creek while you're here at Larson Reservoir, and a fine site to camp here at Larson Reservoir is Sawmill Creek Campground. All year is       a delightful time in the Park Range if you go for the outdoors. Go for a hike on the Bears Ears Trail; why not camp at Freeman Campground if you're here at Larson Reservoir. Don't leave Larson Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Sugar Loaf Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Elk Run Inn. During the warm months at Larson Reservoir highs are mostly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's.
