Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Lark Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows at Lark Pond throughout the winter typically drop into the 0's. While you're here at Lark Pond you can take a hike along the Saint Vrain Glacier Trail, and if you came to camp Shelter Rock Campground is a great place to do that. Be careful coming to the Front       Range, you might not ever want to return back home again. Visiting Rocky Mountain National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Berthoud Pass since you're here. That right there is plenty of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Front Range has it all. Going for a hike along the Bluebird Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and since you might                  be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Bluebird Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Inn At Grand Lake, The is a wonderful place to get some rest, and at Lark Pond you can make out The Cleaver. Interesting geology is available here; Eagles Beak is in the vicinity of Lark Pond, and you can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at Winter Park. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Lark Pond. Lark Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Pawnee Lake Campground is a delightful local campground; if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Lion Lake Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Boulder Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr. This lake is so wonderful. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lark Pond. A splendid spot to stop by right next door to Lark Pond is Boulder-Grand Pass, and you'll meet a lot of people from Boulder here. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Front Range. Bluebird Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Saint Vrain Creek - North. Lark Pond is a location that is quite dried up usually; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Mertensia Falls is always fun to check out, and unsurprisingly, this is a brilliant vicinity for folks who like lakes, Junco Lake is a lake in close proximity.
