It's always fun to stop by Laramie Lake. A lake close by is Barnes Meadow Reservoir, and there's brilliant hiking along the Blue Lake Trail. Not much rain falls here at Laramie Lake; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is January. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Camping at Laramie Lake is great fun, Aspen Glen Campground is a great local campground, and since you're here, you

This lake is so wonderful. Larimie Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Laramie Lake; Big South Trail is a magnificent local trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. After a long day outdoors Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr is a nice spot to spend a night or two, and great hiking is available along the Green Ridge Trail.
