There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Lakes? Sure, Chambers Lake is around here, and Laramie Lake is right by the Green Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Americas Best Value Inn Bighorn Lodge is a magnificent place to get some rest. Laramie Lake is one of the lakes here in the Medicine Bow Mountains.       All through the months of summer here at Laramie Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. During the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Laramie Lake are in the 0's. A perfect place to camp here at Laramie Lake is Big South Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Cache La Poudre River. Yep, outdoors enjoyable                  things truly is plentiful here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Larimie Lake Dam is not far at all from Laramie Lake, and after a long day outdoors Gateway Inn Restaurant Cnf Ctr is a great site to spend a night or two. Not much precipitation falls here at Laramie Lake; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like Fall Creek, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Lost Lake. But wait, there's more to do near Laramie Lake.
