Here at Langholen Reservoir you'll almost certainly meet some people from Silverthorne, and after a long day outdoors Vail Racquet Club Condominiums is a good spot to spend a night or two. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Langholen Reservoir; Sulfur Trail is a great local trail; Blue River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by. You'll really wish for more hours       in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Park Range. The view of lovely Battle Mountain near Langholen Reservoir is delightful; Langholen Reservoir is a fine spot to camp, McDonald Flats Campground is a fine spot. There's some flowing water nearby, North Battle Creek is a stream you can go to during your stay, and not far from Langholen Reservoir you'll stumble on Cole Reservoir which is a charming lake. You can never get enough of the brilliant skiing                  at SolVista. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Park Range. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Williams Fork, and Silverthorne Days Inn is a good place to get some rest. This lake is located in the wonderful Park Range. This lake is so wonderful. The Horseshoe Sulfur Trail offers hiking at its best. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Langholen Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Prairie Point Campground. Langholen Reservoir gets very little rain; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Man, is there a lot of fun stuff to do close to Langholen Reservoir. An out of the ordinary thing to take a look at right next door to Langholen Reservoir is Langholen Dam, and brilliant hiking is available along the Williams Peak Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Langholen Reservoir. Summer night lows drop down to the 40's.
