Lane Reservoir is a location that is pretty dry commonly; of all the months in a year October is the one with the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. Lane Reservoir is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, The       Falls Campground is a perfect local campground; on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Liberty Cap Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. While you're here at Lane Reservoir you can take a hike along the Black Ridge Trail, and camping at Hay Press Campground is always a magnificent experience. The Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains scenery is always beautiful. But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Uncompahgre                  Plateau Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn And Suites Fruita, and get covered with water paddling on Colorado River. Colorado National Monument is a tremendous site in the neighborhood of Lane Reservoir; Lane Reservoir is not far at all from Grand Junction. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Fruita is a perfect site to spend a night or two, and of course Payne Wash is a wonderful stream that is worth a visit. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is splendid here at Lane Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Ute Canal Trail. At Lane Reservoir during the long summer days highs are in the 90's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's.
