If you are in this part of Colorado make sure to pay a visit to Lambert Reservoir. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Hesperus Ski Center is right next door to Lambert Reservoir; Cow Canyon is another great location to stop by close by. So much exciting stuff to do at Lambert Reservoir, so little time. Short Dam is picturesque and it's near Lambert Reservoir. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lambert Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Alpen Rose RV Park. | |

All through the warm days of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Lambert Reservoir. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 30's with temperatures at Lambert Reservoir
dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
This lake is so wonderful. Here at Lambert Reservoir you'll perhaps meet some folks from Durango, and Durango/Purgatory Super 8 Motel is a perfect place to get some rest.
