Short Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out, and a lake close by is Short Reservoir. Not much rainfall falls here at Lambert Reservoir; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and June meanwhile is the driest month. What would winter be without some skiing at Hesperus Ski Center.
