Lehigh Gulch is a great place to look at; get yourself into a kayak and hit South Platte River. Summer at Lambert Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Lambert Reservoir sink into the 10's. Best Western Inn & Suites Of Castle Rock is a magnificent location to get some rest; you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the South Manitou Park Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
