Go to Lakewood Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Delonde Creek is in close proximity to Lakewood Reservoir and is always a pleasure to go to, and as expected, this is a great neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Barker Reservoir is a lake in close proximity. | | Lakewood Reservoir. Be careful coming to Lakewood Reservoir, you might not ever wanna go home again. Why not camp at Pawnee Campground if you're here at Lakewood Reservoir, and do take a hike on the Switzerland Trail. Lakewood Reservoir is a location that is quite dried up typically; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Campground is a fine spot to camp; you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Rainbow Lakes Trail. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Front Range. After a long day outdoors
Nederhaus Motel is a perfect site to spend a night or two; hiking along the Sourdough Trail is pleasant fun. There are some good whitewater spots on Boulder Creek - North; do explore Glacier Lake Dam if you're here. Gotta ski!
Winter Park is a nice place to do that; if you come at the right time of year, Boulder Creek - South offers some splendid whitewater. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Lodge At Nederland. Lakewood Reservoir is a beautiful
lake in the Front Range. High temperatures at Lakewood Reservoir through the long summer days are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Lakewood Reservoir tend to be in the 0's.
