Lakes Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Not much precipitation falls here at Lakes Lake; May is the month that gets the most rain while January is frequently the driest month. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Bear Creek, and this is a popular place for folks from Denver-Aurora. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - Lakewood/Denver Area is a great choice;

Lakes? Sure, Bowles Reservoir Number 1 is close by. There's so much to do here at Lakes Lake that you need to camp here for a while, South Park Mobile Home Park is a great location for that. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Pinehurst Country Club is always a pleasure. Henry Lake Dam is a spot that is near Lakes Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn Denver-Southwest/Lakewood.

If you come at the right time of year, South Platte River offers some brilliant whitewater. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lakes Lake has to offer, you can camp at Chatfield. Yeah, come here to Lakes Lake for a
great time. Not far from Lakes Lake, you'll hit upon Bowles Reservoir Number One which is a striking lake; of course, all our national parks are delightful spots to pop by and Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is no exception.
Through the warm months at Lakes Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and the overnight is a little chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Lakes Lake dip into the 10's.
