Many people like to go to Lake of the Pines. This place, Lake of the Pines, it absolutely has so much outdoors amusing stuff. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Lake of the Pines you get some great water scenery at Lake of the Pines Dam; everybody loves Purgatory Flat. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Lake of the Pines; most of the rain falls through August while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The Circle Trail is

| | a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Lake of the Pines, and the skiing at Silverton is pleasant. The San Juan Mountains scenery is always beautiful. During the long summer days here at Lake of the Pines, high temperatures usually get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 30's. but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the San Juan Mountains. A great nearby hotel is Purgatory Village Condominium Hotel. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake of the Pines has to offer, you can camp
at Haviland Lake Campground. Yeah, come here to Lake of the Pines for a nice time. Lake of the Pines is a nice place to camp, Purgatory Campground is a nice place, and swing by Elbert Creek it's a perfect spot to stop by. If you need
a place to stay Cascade Village is a brilliant choice; Kendall Mountain is a great local ski area. If the weather is magnificent here at Lake of the Pines, you can go for a hike along the Highline Trail, and Animas River is a
nice whitewater spot close by. And if that's not enough there's plenty more entertaining stuff to do in the San Juan Mountains. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Canyon Creek, and lakes are
such peaceful locations, why not go to Aspaas Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Near Lake of the Pines you discover the East Fork Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail, and the peak of Castle Rock can be observed from Lake of the Pines.
