Lake Windemere is always a pleasure to visit. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lake Windemere, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's, and night lows at Lake Windemere during the winter typically dip into the 0's. So much enjoyable stuff in the Park Range, just impressive. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Windemere; Big Creek Bridge Trail is a great local

| | trail, and after a long day outdoors Rabbit Ears Motel is a nice site to spend a night or two.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Red Dirt Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Steamboat Springs Koa Steamboat Springs Koa is a splendid location to camp. Float down the rapids of Elk River in a kayak, and Poulter Colorado Camps is a perfect campground nearby. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing things | |

the area next to Lake Windemere has to offer. The peak of Saddle Mountain can be seen from Lake Windemere; Farnsworth Creek is in close proximity to Lake Windemere and is always a joy to take a look at.
Lake Windemere is one of
the lakes here in the Park Range. It is very waterless here at Lake Windemere typically; the month with most of the snow is December; the driest of the months is February. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Park Range.
Howelsen Hill has perfect slopes and a friendly staff, and paddling on Elk River is so much fun.
This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Steamboat close by, and Nordic Lodge of Steamboat is a perfect place to get some rest.
Near Lake Windemere you find De Cora Gulch which is a perfect location to have a look at, and do take a hike on the Elk Park Trail.
