    Lake San Cristobal is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, not enough time. Argenta Falls is a splendid local attraction, and whitewater paddling is great on Lake Fork Gunnison River. If you came to camp Slumgullion Pass Campground is a magnificent site to do that; Deadman Gulch is undeniably a good place to stop by. For the duration of the days of summer here at Lake San Cristobal,  
   high temperatures regularly reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. During the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 30's; overnight lows during the wintertime for Lake San Cristobal tend to be in the-10's.
This place, the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, has so much outdoors fun things. Slumgullion Creek is a scenic stream that is worth stopping at, and a pleasant visit to Sawmill Park is a great way to spend an afternoon.
 
               Not much rain falls here at Lake San Cristobal; through the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm places, why not take a look at Regan Lake near Lake San Cristobal, and paddling on Henson Creek is so much fun.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lake San Cristobal that you need to camp here for a while, Lake City Campground is a splendid location for that, and there is a nice hiking trail close by called the Ridge Stock Driveway. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Ouray is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
Man, is there heaps of enjoyable things to do close to Lake San Cristobal. Waterdog Lake is a magnificent lake next to Lake San Cristobal, and you can go for a hike on the Rough Creek Trail. Don't forget to explore Texas Point while you're here at Lake San Cristobal, and going for a hike on the Big Blue Trail is always a good adventure.
