     Lake San Cristobal is a nice lake to visit. Lake San Cristobal is pretty dried up usually; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Man, is there a lot of exciting things to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Texas Point is not far from Lake San Cristobal at all; if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Henson Creek. If you came to camp Slumgullion Pass Campground  
   is a splendid location to do that.
This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. There are other locations here than Lake San Cristobal, for example Thompson Lake, and do take a hike on the Big Blue Trail. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are beyond doubt bountiful here at Lake San Cristobal. Not far from Lake San Cristobal, you'll hit upon Regan Lake which is a striking lake, and Lake Fork Gunnison
 
               River is a delightful whitewater spot nearby.
A quick spree to Slumgullion Creek in the vicinity of Lake San Cristobal is a nice idea, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Ridge Stock Driveway. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lake San Cristobal that you need to camp here for a while, Lake City Campground is a brilliant location for that It's always great to take a look at Argenta Falls. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at Lake San Cristobal get into the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Lake San Cristobal.
A good place in the vicinity of Lake San Cristobal is Deadman Gulch, and a good spot like Sawmill Park here at Lake San Cristobal is too great to miss. You simply should go for the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Comfort Inn Ouray is a brilliant place to get some rest, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Rough Creek Trail.
