What a nice lake Lake San Cristobal is. This lake is so wonderful. Lake San Cristobal is near Deadman Gulch which is without doubt worth taking a look at; if you came to camp Lake City Campground is a tremendous place to do that. High temperatures at Lake San Cristobal through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's, and the nighttime is quite cooler of course, ordinarily in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and through

| | the dark hours in the winter at Lake San Cristobal temperatures sink to the-10's. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the San Juan Mountains. If you need a spot to stay Silver Spur Motel is a great choice, and a good location for whitewater paddling is Lake Fork Gunnison River.

great whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Lake San Cristobal is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Slumgullion Pass Campground is a fine local campground, and Matterhorn Motel is a tremendous place to get some
rest. Going for a hike on the Rough Creek Trail is always a great adventure, and Sawmill Park is right here at Lake San Cristobal.
Lake San Cristobal is a location that is reasonably arid regularly; most of the rain falls during
August while February is typically the driest month. Put some time aside to spend at Argenta Falls while you're here at Lake San Cristobal, and why not visit Texas Point also since you're here.
This lake is one of the great places
here in the San Juan Mountains. What a location this is for outdoors people. Near Lake San Cristobal you discover the Big Blue Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail; swing by Slumgullion Creek it's a nice place to explore.
