During the warm months highs here at Lake Ridge Lakes get into the 80's, and the overnight is quite colder of course, typically in the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lake Ridge Lakes are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Carbondale-Days Inn is a good site to get some rest, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike       along the Munsey Ruby Stock Driveway. You absolutely have to go for Lake Ridge Lakes. There is a perfect hiking trail close to Lake Ridge Lakes called the Blue Creek Trail; if you need a location to stay Sunlight Mountain Inn is a pleasant choice. You can run the rapids of Crystal River close to Lake Ridge Lakes; there's some flowing water close by, Dexter Creek is a stream you can stop by during your stay. If you came for an overnight stay Osgood Campground                  is a magnificent location to camp, and Sunlight Mountain is a very popular ski area close by. Near Lake Ridge Lakes you hit upon the Terror Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and camping is available at Janeway Campground.
