     If you fancy the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Lake Otonawanda. Lake Otonawanda is a fine spot to visit for more than one day, Timber Ridge Motel and Campground is a fine spot to camp nearby, and West Lake is a delightful lake close by. Best Western Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs is a good location to get some rest, and Uncompahgre River is a fine whitewater spot nearby. So much exciting stuff to do in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, not sufficient time.  
   Polly's Motel Car wash is a great local campground, and lakes are such calm locations, why not pop by Dry Lake.
There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Otonowanda Dam is a site that is near Lake Otonawanda, and after a long day outdoors Ouray Chalet Inn is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. At Lake Otonawanda you don’t see much precipitation; of all the months in a year July is the
 
               one with the most rain, and June is the month with the least moisture.
Hit the slopes at Telluride in close proximity, and if you're here you can play some golf at Fairway Pines Golf Club. Blaine Draw is near Lake Otonawanda and is a great place, and the Dallas Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful location for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Lake Otonawanda is San Miguel River, and there is a delightful hiking trail close by called the Weehawken Pack Trail.
This place, the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, has so much outdoors fun stuff. The sight of Miller Mesa from Lake Otonawanda is stunning, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Blue Lakes Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Summertime highs at Lake Otonawanda generally tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Lake Otonawanda.
So many fun things to do here at Lake Otonawanda, too splendid to be true. Billy Wood Spring is a brilliant local attraction; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Silverton.
