At Lake Otonawanda you don’t see much rain; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is June.       This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Uncompahgre River, and don't leave Lake Otonawanda without first paying a visit to Billy Wood Spring. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel is a tremendous choice, and next to Lake Otonawanda you come across a golf course called Fairway Pines Golf Club. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! Lake Otonawanda is great! Have a great hiking adventure along the Dallas Trail.                  Throughout the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Lake Otonawanda. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Lake Otonawanda plunge into the 10's. Lake Otonawanda is a beautiful lake in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Silverton; the top of Miller Mesa is easily seen from Lake Otonawanda. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool things just keep reading. There's whitewater on San Miguel River for all you adrenaline kick people, and Lake Otonawanda is a great location to camp, Timber Ridge Motel and Campground is a great location. Be careful coming to the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. Take a hike on the Blue Lakes Trail, and an exciting thing to explore in close proximity to Lake Otonawanda is Otonowanda Dam. That right there is a heap of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains has it all.
