Dry warm beds await you at Knights Inn Walsenburg, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Black Hills Trail. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Eldora, and going for a hike along the Wahatoya Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Lakes? Sure, Lake Meriam is       close by, and do put some time aside to spend at Lower Spring while you're here at Lake Oehm. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lake Oehm. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Oehm drop into the 0's. Lake Oehm is a location that is reasonably arid regularly; August is the                  wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little tour to Martin Lake Dam if you're here at Lake Oehm; since you're here you can take a hike along the Bartlett Trail. The Sangre De Cristo Mountains scenery is always beautiful. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. A great spot to camp here at Lake Oehm is Lathrop; if you need a location to stay Best Western Rambler is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Lake Oehm and you like golf, you can visit Walsenburg Golf Club, and you get a perfect view of Walsen Crag from here.
