Lake Moraine is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Lake Moraine is pretty waterless mostly; the wettest month of the year is mostly July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is January. There's so much to do here at Lake Moraine that you need to camp here for a while, Wye Campground is a great spot for that, and if you need a place to stay Cascade Hills Motel is a brilliant choice.

the time, Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a national park worth stopping at. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing things the Front Range has to offer. Stay the night at Clyde Campground, and since you're
here, you could also stop by charming Big Tooth Reservoir. Man, is there a heap of exciting things to do close to Lake Moraine. You have to absolutely take a look at Windy Point while you're here at Lake Moraine; The Cliff House Hotel
at Pikes Peak is a glorious site to get some rest.
Going for a hike on the Waldo Canyon Trail is always a delightful adventure, and folks from Colorado Springs love to come here. This lake is one of the great places here in the Front Range.
