Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Sangre De Cristo Mountains is unbeatable!. Dry warm beds await you at Budget Host Raton, and Capulin Volcano National Monument is a wonderful national park. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. You could also check out Lake Dorothey if you're here at Lake Maloya; it's nearby; unsurprisingly East Fork Schwachheim Creek flows through

Having a pleasant time at Lake Maloya is trouble-free. Lake Maloya is near Lake Maloya Dam which is a pretty site beyond doubt worth going to, and a lake nearby is Lake Maloya. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lake Maloya has to offer, you can camp at SummerLan RV Park, and playing golf is lots of fun at Raton City Municipal Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lake Maloya that you need to camp here for a while, Raton RV Park is a pleasant place for that; if you need a place to stay Super 8 Raton NM is
a fine choice. During the warm months at Lake Maloya highs are generally in the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; after the sun is down all through the
winter temperatures at Lake Maloya dip into the 10's. The Sangre De Cristo Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
