Lake Loveland is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. If you come at the right time of year, Willow Creek offers some nice whitewater, and if you desire a little side tour, try Haney Draw. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Willow Pass Trail; while you're here, you could also stop by scenic Cattail Reservoir.
If you need a place to stay Littletree Inn

is a great choice, and there's some flowing water close by, Elk Creek is a stream you can pop by during your stay. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lake Loveland that you need to camp here for a while, Parkview Campground is a good location for that, and after a long day outdoors Summit at SilverCreek is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at Lake Loveland get into the 70's; the
night is quite cooler of course, regularly in the 30's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's while Lake Loveland nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's.
The Illinois River Trail offers hiking at its best; you'll come across a wonderful lake called South Side Reservoir. There's great hiking along the Bill Creek Trail; if you're interested in hydro structures, you can take a look at Lake Loveland Dam. There are some fine whitewater spots on Colorado River; if you came to camp Teller City Campground is a great spot to do that.
Lake Loveland is a location that is quite waterless usually; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January.
