There's whitewater on Willow Creek for all you adrenaline kick people, and you can stay the night at Teller City Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Summit at SilverCreek is a perfect place to get some rest; you can run the rapids of Colorado River. Take a little visit to Elk Creek since you're here at Lake Loveland, and if you get bored of Lake Loveland you could also stop at       close by Lake Ruby. This lake is so wonderful. Parkview Campground is a good campground nearby; hiking along the Willow Pass Trail is wonderful fun. Summertime highs at Lake Loveland generally tend to be in the 70's with night lows in the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Lake Loveland nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. Yeah, come here to Lake Loveland for a nice time. There's some out of the ordinary stuff                  to catch a sight of at Lake Loveland Dam near Lake Loveland; going for a hike along the Illinois River Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Lake Loveland is not the only location nearby, Lake Roslyn is a nearby lake, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Bill Creek Trail. After a long day outdoors Littletree Inn is a great location to spend a night or two, and if you fancy a little side visit, try Haney Draw.
