Just can't get enough of the Front Range. You'll meet a lot of people from Colorado Springs here; pleasant hiking is available along the Stanley Canyon Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Since you're here at Lake Lodge why not stop at Ensign Gulch, and Shining Mountain Golf Club is a glorious golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful.       Lakes? Sure, Grace Lake is close at hand; camping is available at Springdale Campground. At Lake Lodge you don’t see much rain; during July this area sees the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. And if that's not sufficient there's a load more entertaining stuff to do in the Front Range. A trip to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is worthwhile; there are other locations here than Lake Lodge, for example Leo Lake.                  If you need a site to stay Country Lodge is a fine choice, and don't leave Lake Lodge without first going for a hike along the Schubarth Trail. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining stuff just keep reading. The Cliff House Hotel at Pikes Peak is a brilliant site to get some rest, and there's good hiking along the Balanced Rock Trail. During the summertime, highs typically are in the 80's at Lake Lodge while overnight lows are frequently in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lake Lodge temperatures descend to the 0's.
