This lake is so wonderful. The Blue Lake Trail is a good hiking trail in the vicinity of Lake John; soar down the rapids of North Platte River in a kayak. Lake John is close to Lake John Dam which is a beautiful location certainly worth taking a look at, and Helena Campground is a great local campground. Yep, outdoors cool things truly is abundant here in the Park Range. There is a fine hiking trail in close       proximity to Lake John called the Ute Pass Trail, and not far from Lake John you'll hit upon Brands Reservoir which is a wonderful lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Park Range. Lakeside Campground is a glorious campground nearby; needless to say Lake Creek flows through this area. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Lake John temperatures are frequently in the 70's while overnight lows are generally in the 40's. For the period of the winter                  the highs are commonly in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Lake John.
