Lake John is one of the lakes here in the Park Range. Lake John is good enough to spend more than a day at, Helena Campground is a good local campground; going for a hike on the Grizzly Helena Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Lake John, you'll find Brands Reservoir which is a delightful lake,       and why not explore nearby Lake Creek while you're here at Lake John. At Lake John through the days of summer highs are in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's with temperatures at Lake John dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do near Lake John. Camping at Lakeside Campground is always a tremendous experience, and                  you can go for a hike on the Ute Pass Trail. And that's not all the things to do here in the Park Range. After a long day outdoors CrossTimbers at Steamboat is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. So many cool things in the Park Range, just inspiring. Lakes are splendid; Lake John is a lake that's in the vicinity of Lake John, and Lake John Dam is a place that is near Lake John.
