For the period of the long summer days at Lake Irwin temperatures are commonly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; nighttime lows at Lake Irwin throughout the wintertime ordinarily dip into the-10's. Irwin Lodge is a good local ski area, and a       lake nearby is Meridian Lake Reservoir. If you come at the right time of year, Daisy Creek offers some fine whitewater, and the Lowline Trail offers hiking at its best. Why not camp at Lost Lake Campground if you're here at Lake Irwin; why not take a refreshing hike along the Mill-Castle Trail. Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Lake Irwin. If you need a site to stay Elevation Hotel & Spa is a wonderful choice;                  Kebler Pass is also a good place to discover. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Lake Irwin. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Slate River; Lake Irwin is not the only place nearby, Green Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Elk Mountain Lodge, and don’t forget to take a look at Independence Basin since you're here at Lake Irwin. Lake Irwin is pretty dried out mostly; most of the rain falls throughout August, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
