    Lake Irwin is a lake worth visiting. Lake Irwin gets very little rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Summertime at Lake Irwin arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and night lows in the-10's for Lake Irwin. While you're here at Lake Irwin  
   it's a glorious idea to stop by Independence Basin, and Slate River is a wonderful whitewater spot close by.
If you adore the outdoors, you'll adore Lake Irwin. You can run the rapids of Daisy Creek next to Lake Irwin, and the summit of Ruby Peak can be observed from Lake Irwin. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Copley Lake, and do take a hike on the Lowline Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's always Meridian
 
               Lake Dam to take a look at close to Lake Irwin, and Crested Butte Intl. Lodge & Hostel is a pleasant spot to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. A glorious close by hotel is The Elevation Hotel, and hiking along the Mill-Castle Trail is wonderful fun. If you're here, you might as well explore Kebler Pass; going for a hike along the Trail Riders Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Camping is available at Lost Lake Campground.
Why not camp at Avery Peak Campground since you're here at Lake Irwin; Irwin Lodge has glorious slopes and a friendly staff.
