Lake Humphreys is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Rio Grande for all you adrenaline people, and the Lake Fork National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best. Wagon Wheel Springs is an inspiring spot to visit during your stay, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Farmers Creek Trail. So many amusing things to do here in the San Juan Mountains, too pleasant to be true.

This lake is so wonderful. This is a nice region for people who like lakes. Hay Press Lake is a lake close by, and get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater of Wolf Creek. At Lake Humphreys you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is June.

San Juan Mountains scenery is always beautiful. All year is a great time in the San Juan Mountains if you like the outdoors. Looking for some flowing water? Try Brush Creek, and camping at Mining Camp RV Resort is always a tremendous
experience. Lake Humphreys is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Broken Arrow Ranch is a glorious local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn.
This is no location for people who don’t like
to have a good time. One of the governing features of the surroundings of Lake Humphreys is Turret Peak, and you don’t have to go far from Lake Humphreys to spot the water at Humphreys Dam. For the period of the summer months here
at Lake Humphreys, high temperatures generally reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 30's. During the winter highs are regularly in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Humphreys descend into the-10's.
