Lakes are such serene places, why not take a look at Lake Hope in the neighborhood of Lake Hope, and the skiing at Silverton is great. Lake Hope is mostly a rather dry place; the wettest month of the year is mostly July, that's the one that rains the most; June on the other hand is the driest. If you're here, you might as well stop at Poverty Gulch, and in the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lime Creek. Summertime

| | at Lake Hope comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Lake Hope sink into the 0's. so wonderful. Lake Hope is great enough to spend more than a day at, South Mineral Campground is a great local campground, and an interesting thing to have a look at right next door to Lake Hope is Lake Hope Dam. This lake is so wonderful.
Near Lake Hope you locate the Sheep Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. There's so much to do here at Lake Hope that you need to camp here for a while, Riverwood Inn and RV Park is a great place for that. If you like skiing,
you're in luck; Telluride is right next door to Lake Hope; on a gorgeous day you get a wonderful panorama of Beattie Peak from Lake Hope. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Hope. Going for
a hike on the Lizard Head Trail is always a wonderful adventure; dry warm beds await you at Fairmont Franz Klammer Lodge. If you need a spot to stay Capella Telluride is a delightful choice; the Highline Trail is a great hiking trail close by.
