Many people like to go to Lake Grant. Lake Grant is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Cement Creek Campground is a wonderful local campground, and after a long day outdoors WestWall Lodge is a great place to spend a night or two. The Trail Riders Trail is a glorious hiking trail in close proximity to Lake Grant, and Crested Butte Mountain Resort is a delightful location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. At Lake Grant you don’t see much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August; February is the month with the least moisture. During the months of summer at Lake Grant temperatures are frequently in the 70's with night lows in the 40's. the-10's. Near Lake Grant you find the Granite Basin Trail which is a great hiking trail, and get drenched paddling on Oh Be Joyful Creek.
Whitewater paddling is good on East River, and going for a hike on the Lowline Trail is
always a pleasant adventure. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area near Lake Grant has to offer. If you came to camp Avery Peak Campground is a great place to do that; you can never get enough of the splendid
skiing at Aspen Highlands.
This lake is so wonderful. A spree to Baxter Gulch is always fun, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Irwin Lodge while you're here.
