What a nice lake Lake Grant is. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Lake Grant gets very little rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. For the duration of the warmest time of the year here at Lake Grant, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's while night lows are regularly in the 40's. Lake Grant descend into the-10's. Crested Butte Mountain Resort is a glorious location to get some rest; there is a pleasant hiking trail nearby called the Lowline Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Crested Butte Mountain Resort
is a pleasant local campground, and the summit of Crested Butte can be made out from Lake Grant. The Granite Basin Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close to Lake Grant; hey, Gotta ski right? Irwin Lodge is a good spot to do that.
On a great day at Lake Grant you can take a hike along the Trail Riders Trail, and pretty scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Aspen Highlands.
This lake is so wonderful. Avery Peak Campground is a fine campground nearby, and get your pulse rate up on the pleasant whitewater of Oh Be Joyful Creek.
