Silvercreek Lodging is a good place to get some rest, and you can stay the night at Grand Bay Campground. Hit the slopes at Berthoud Pass nearby, and needless to say, A spree to Walden Hollow is always fun. The Outlet Trail offers hiking at its best, and enjoy a round of golf at SolVista Golf Club. This place, Lake       Granby, it just has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Lake Granby is right by the Columbine Creek Trail. There's so much to do here at Lake Granby that you need to camp here for a while, Shadow Mountain Marina and RV is a perfect location for that. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Shadow Mountain Lake, and one of the best things about this location is its proximity to Surprise Beach. Not much rainfall falls here at Lake Granby; of all the months                  in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. If you need a place to stay The Inn at Silver Creek is a splendid choice, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Fraser River. This lake is so wonderful. Hidden Cove is in the vicinity of Lake Granby and is a fine location to take a look at, and get your heart beating on the pleasant whitewater of Willow Creek. But wait, there's more to do close to Lake Granby. Lake Granby is near Granby Dam which is a striking place positively worth stopping at, and do take a hike on the Shadow Mountain Trail. Summertime highs at Lake Granby usually tend to be in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lake Granby.
