 | 13 miles away 1 PHOTO I was disappointed when I realized that canoes are not allowed. But it is very beautiful and a nice place for a simple hike.... Bring your fishing net!!!! I caught a two pound smallmouth off powerbait and reeled it in on 6lb test all the way to the bank and the line snapped as I pulled it up and out of the water because I had no net.... went in July 2007, no bites. Beautiful lake though.... |

There is a small stream running through the valley giving you the opportunity to pan for gold. There are several hiking trails starting in the campground, and lots of open space for a leisurely stroll or games. There are ATV trails and fishing about 20 minutes away. For your convenience our restrooms, heated showers, and dump station are centrally located by the office, along with the ice machine, and fire wood. We have supplies, and food available in the office/store. Your pets are welcome to camp with you at no extra cost, but must never be left alone at your campsite.
