If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Front Range. Near Lake George you stumble on Arkansas Gulch which is a great place to check out, and the Phantom Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. Lake George Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and magnificent hiking is available along the Longwater Trail. Not much rain falls here at Lake George; all through the month of August you get       the most rain around here; January is when it's the driest. These mountains rock, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Front Range. Lake George Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop at; why not camp at Eleven Mile if you're here at Lake George. This lake is so wonderful. Adamans Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake George; Hankins Trail is a tremendous                  local trail. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you haven’t been to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, you ought to schedule some time for it while you're here; camping at Lake George is good fun, Lake George Cabins and RV Park is a good local campground. Lake George is one of the lakes here in the Front Range. This lake is so wonderful. Through the summer months here at Lake George, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Lake George descend into the-10's.
